Artist Bios-
Stephane Wrembel Band -
His sound/style is a blend of Django, Gypsy, Rock & World Music but truly should be simply called Wrembel Music.
A heavyweight guitarist who has been composing for Woody Allen’s movies (“Vicky Cristina Barcelona","Midnight in Paris" etc.)
He is a one of a kind artist and true samurai of his craft.
Stephane was featured in the 84th Academy Awards all-star band led by Hans Zimmer together with Esperanza Spaulding, Pharrell Williams & Billy Crystal on vocals. He will also be playing Carnegie Hall this winter. Stephane Wrembel’s music will send you flying over lush landscapes and then hit you hard like a freight train.
He is both an embodiment of the Buddha and Napoleon.
We are very excited to have these boys in town for the night!
Juanito Pascual New Flamenco Trio with dancer Neli Tirado-
When it comes to feeling music within and speaking from that place, the artistry of Juanito Pascual is one of the most stirring in the New Flamenco scene.
His consciousness as a person is also as beautiful as his art, he often collaborates with numerous environmental projects, and has an ongoing relationship with Earth Train and their Junglewood project in the Panamanian rain forest. In fall of 2013 he was invited to perform at Panama's Biodiversity Museum in association with National Geographic to celebrate Earth Train's collaboration with Jane Goodall.
Juanito will just be coming off a tour with Jorge Pardo, known for his work with Paco de Lucia’s legendary Sextet for over 20 years, and frequent collaborations with Chick Corea. Juanito has played many great concert halls from Lincoln center in Manhattan to the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and beyond.
The New Flamenco Trio will be accompanied by dancer Nellida Tirado and you will be able to hear a pin drop in their rest notes as they effortlessly command the attention from the entire room.
Hailed “magnificent” and "utterly compelling" by The New York Times, Nelida Tirado has been recognized around the world for her intense grace and powerful style.

Miss Ekaterina -
Former Miss Coney Island!
A model, actress, contortionist, aerial artist and former international gymnast. Ekat was born in Russia and competed at the world championship level for the Russian rhythmic gymnastics team. She later trained as an aerial artist with Cirque du Soleil. After re-locating to New York she began working as a contortionist in the burgeoning new burlesque scene. Ekat added the role of target girl to her portfolio after meeting knife thrower The Great Throwdini. In 2005 she was one of the stars of the off-Broadway show Maximum Risk, during which she helped set two world records for the number of knives thrown around a human target in one minute. She also appears in the movie Across the Universe (2007).
Amy G -
Forged from vaudeville stock, classical training, and an endless international tour circuit, Amy G is a deluxe weirdo extraordinaire.
Get ready to get your giggles on with the lightness and playfulness of Amy G throughout the festivities.
Edith & Bennett-
We are constantly thinking of the land and our history as people at Salt Stage being that the film project Salt Stage is about portraiture. Roots music of all cultures has such depth and in some way with each show we want to bring the focus of the audience to something earthly.
In Exploring this for Autumn Salt we have hooked up with Edith & Bennett to sing traditional americana worksongs from Maine and beyond.
Reviving the culture of agriculture, they teach and perform on stage and in the field, putting a new twist on the ancient arts of field hollers, farmer’s ballads and barn dances. Recognized as worksong scholars and musical ambassadors who embody and expand the rich culture of rural american music, they perform internationally for the US State Department as Special Envoys in traditional music.
